FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What is the call to API and how much will I pay if the text is short?

One call to API equals one API request, regardless of the text length, which must be between 5 and 1000 characters.

What is the output of the API call?

API returns results in a format of XML or JSON, it is displayed directly in Excel/ Google Sheets when Add-In is used (transformed into cells) or programmatically when using provided SDK code samples.

What languages do you support?

Currently, we support all forms of English language on shared api.

What analysis results are available when requesting API?

API always returns full analysis including sentiment score, slang detection, entities, citations, themes, categories. However, the outcome depends on the analyzed text, hence some results might not be available (e.g. if text is too short for specifying categories).

I have a 50,000 documents to be processed, is there a plan without a daily limit?

Please contact us, so we can create custom offer including extended daily transaction limit (usually cheaper than the standard pricing).

Will I be charged a monthly fee once my credit expires?

We do not charge the monthly fee for using the account - once your credit expires you can choose to top-top the account or wait until you need it again. The exception is custom endpoint subscription, it needs to be paid monthly to keep the custom server running.

Do you provide a free trial?

Yes, we do.

I have a one-off project to analyze 10,000 documents, which plan should I choose?

The best for one-off analysis is the "Explorer" plan. It is also good for testing the API before upgrading to "Basic" or "Enterprise".

How to uninstall text2data Excel Add-In?

Go to Windows control panel, then open "Programs and Features"" or "Add/Remove programs", find "text2data_excel" program and click uninstall.

When using Excel Add-In, the analysis pane is not opening

Please make sure the other Excel Add-Ins do not interfere with ours. If unsure, please go to "Excel => File => Options => Add-Ins" and disable all active Add-Ins. Next, re-start the Excel. Also make sure you have only one instance of Excel open.
